1. ESCORIAL MONASTERY & VALLEY OF THE FALLEN
On this tour to the northwest of Madrid, we first of all pay a visit to the Valley of The Fallen, a colossal monument to the unknown soldier of the Spanish Civil War 1936-39 built by the order of Franco. It’s a subterranean basilica actually carved into the mountain-side of Guadarrama range, on top of which stands a huge granite cross 150 mts.
The next stop, will take you to Escorial Monastery” the 8th wonder of the world”, whose structure comprises a basilica, two palaces, Royal Pantheon, Library, etc.

2. TOLEDO
We’ll drive to the south, along the highway, which take us to the Imperial City of Toledo, medieval place with more than 2000 years. Sightseeing out of the walls to take photos, and just inside, we’ll guide you though the Gothic Cathedral, Castle, Jewish synagogues, Muslim mosque, and the mudejar stile of Sto. Tome, which holds El Creco Masterpiece “The burial of Count Orgaz”

3. AVILA AND SEGOVIA
Fist of all, we’ll arrive to Avila, a town surrounded by an intact medieval walls a thousand years old. It’s a religious and mystical town for its Churches, convents, Cathedral, and specially Sta. Teresa´s convent La Encarnación.

Following this visit to the most famous, majestic and preserved roman Aqueduct in Segovia, 2000 years old. We’ll see the Baroque Cathedral 16th century as well as the famous 12th century Castle which resemblance to Disney Cinderella’s Castle.
